A Bit About Megan
My philosophy of education is to cultivate a love of learning, create a community of connection and develop a validation of academic passion that can be the fuel of a lifetime of learning.
I believe students thrive in an environment that encourages them to be critical thinkers and evaluate information successfully. I have worked on a multitude of collaborative projects with classroom teachers designed to evaluate their students’ research skills. From creating a Latin Film Festival called the “Caesars” to book-talking genre favorites of diverse literature for seventh grade English classes, I am committed to teaching engaging and active learning. I appreciate the opportunity to develop lessons with students that enhance their academic careers. I am a results-oriented, collaborative educator who has a history of inspiring students with creative, intelligent instruction.
